Conference Program Development

The Diversity In Education Fund has extensive experience developing, managing and convening conferences and workshops to advance higher education diversity issues on a national, regional or local level. Whether you require assistance creating a substantive program agenda, identifying and inviting industry experts for keynote and panel speakers, or full conference management, DIEF will partner with you to produce a successful program that attracts leaders in higher education and corporate America as well as policy, community and foundation influentials.

DIEF convened the “Benchmarks and Barriers” Conference in conjunction with Black Issues In Higher Education’s 20th Anniversary and the “Stranding the Math, Science and Technology Education Divide: A Dialogue for Stakeholders” Conference sponsored by the National Science Foundation. Since 2004, DIEF has managed and produced the “John Hope Franklin Symposium & Gala,” a unique educational conference series that honors the career achievements of the noted scholar and historian, Dr. Franklin, and convenes distinguished scholars and leaders to address the challenges and opportunities facing higher education.
