Message from the President

As we look to a new era of change in America, the Diversity In Education Fund has an important message to convey and body of work to accomplish. America’s strength lies in its diversity and all its citizens working together toward a common goal. Our nation has taken many positive steps toward achieving diversity, but significant challenges remain before us. Many lessons have been learned and they need to be shared with and experienced by the nation at-large.

The Diversity In Education Fund was created to honor the diversity benchmarks already achieved throughout America by promoting their growth, expansion and repetition. But the Fund was also created to address the remaining barriers to access and opportunity and work toward an America where all citizens have the opportunity to fulfill their full educational and career potential. We seek opportunity for all, but especially for those previously denied----people of every color, ethnicity, gender, religion, age, and ability level.

Our Mission and work is dedicated to these critical objectives. We encourage our future partners---individuals, organizations, agencies, firms and institutions---to join us and capitalize on the diversity expertise that we have gained in a quarter century of dealing with the issues facing the underserved and underrepresented in higher education. Together we can make change and serve the common good!
